The Online Handbook has been updated to reflect the new and changed features of OkAssessor.com. I am hoping to be able to port the handbook to a printable format within the next few weeks.

Next week, the Online Handbook will be updated to reflect all the changes that have been made to the site since last update. Some of the things that will be covered are Printable Property Cards, Online Mapping, and the newly added Comparable Worksheets. Smaller changes that have been made will also be discussed.

You can now print Comparable Worksheets. There is a "Print Worksheet" button on the Compare page (right above the parcel comparison) that will open a print page for the worksheet. Just print and you are good to go.

We are currently working on a printer friendly version of the Compare page. It will allow up to 3 comparables to be listed next to the subject property. It will be based on the Competitive Closed Sales section of your average BPO form.

The Online Maps feature has been completed. Hughes county is currently the only county that has this feature enabled. Expect more counties to get this feature soon. With the Online Map you can limit searches to within a radius of a subject parcel. The Online Map feature also allows you to view the following layers : Township/Range grids, Sections, Lots, Blocks, Additions, School Districts, Water, Highways, City Roads, and County Roads. The toolset included with the Online Map contains Zooming, Panning, Buffer Searches, the ability to toggle the Overview Map, Scale bar, and Legend. You can also turn layers on and off depending on your needs.

Coal county is now online. Please note that some website visitors may not be able to see a new county for up to a week, depending on how often their ISP refreshes their DNS servers.

We are currently working on online maps for select counties. Hughes county is currently being used as the test county. The "Map Parcel" and "Map Parcels" buttons may work in this county, but are not yet fully functional. We are using ESRI's ArcIMS package to create these online maps.

Property cards have been added to the site to replace the printing of the Parcel Information page. Click on the "Print Cards" button on the Parcel Information page to print the property cards. Be sure to print in Landscape mode.
